. Marketing, press and public relations at the Upper Austrian Provincial Museums

Founded as a universal museum more than 150 years ago, the Upper Austrian Provincial Museum today is a modern communication- and mediation-oriented cultural operation. “Cross-border” exhibits, events and special projects in the Castle Museum, State Gallery and Biology Centre as well as nine further places link the Upper Austrian Provincial Museums with regional and international partners in very diverse social surroundings and offer a platform for exchange and discussion.

With your support and your positive as well as critical comments and suggestions, we have succeeded in the past years to integrate ever more visitors into this exchange and to continuously increase our visitor numbers.

In order to arrange as lively an exchange and discourse as possible with you, we are at your disposal daily from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm as the team of the department of marketing, press and public relations.

Press conferences usually take place on the exhibit opening day. You are invited to them about 2 weeks in advance. If you are not on our press mailing list yet, please contact us.
